Such fruits of this plant are endowed with a rather dense and pressed pubescence, as well as a persistent column, the length of which will be about five millimeters. The length of the legs of the lilac pod pods is about four millimeters.
The flowering of this plant occurs in the summer period. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of Ukraine, Central Asia, Kazakhstan, Dagestan, Western Siberia, southern and eastern regions of the European part of Russia. For the growth of lilacs, the leguminous plant prefers sands, dry steppes and chestnut soils.
Description of the medicinal properties of lilac pod
Lilac leguminous is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the roots, seeds and grass of this plant. As for traditional medicine, an aqueous infusion based on the herb of lilac pods is widely used as a cardiotonic agent. The infusion prepared on the basis of the flowers and seeds of this plant has the ability to manifest a strophanthin-like effect on the cardiovascular system.
