The root and lower stem leaves of this plant are finger-separated, while the upper stem leaves will be short-petiolate, three to five-separate. The leaves of Potentilla are grayish colored in green tones, from below they will be thin-sided tomentose, and from above they are sparsely pressed hairy. The sepals of this plant will be sharp, and the petals are slightly longer than the sepals and they will be painted in yellow tones.

The flowering of Potentilla grayish falls on the period from July to August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of all regions of the European part of Russia and Western Siberia, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Ukraine, Moldova, as well as in the Amur region in the Far East and in the Angara-Sayan region of Eastern Siberia. For growth, the plant prefers dry meadows, fields, fallow lands, places along the edges of roads, steppes and steppe meadows.

Description of the medicinal properties of Potentilla grayish

Cinquefoil is endowed with very valuable medicinal properties, while for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the leaves, rhizomes, stems and flowers of this plant. The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the content of alkaloid traces in the rhizomes and flowers of this plant, while vitamin C will be present in the leaves and flowers. A decoction prepared on the basis of grayish cinquefoil rhizomes is recommended for diarrhea, hematuria and menorrhagia. The herb of this plant is used topically for laryngitis.

To prepare a decoction based on the roots of this plant, you will need to take three teaspoons of grayish cinquefoil roots in one glass of water. Then the resulting mixture should be boiled, after which such a healing mixture based on this plant is left to infuse for two hours, and then this mixture is filtered very carefully. The obtained healing agent is taken on the basis of grayish cinquefoil four times a day, half an hour before the start of a meal, two to three tablespoons.

With laryngitis, it is recommended to gargle with the following solution based on grayish cinquefoil: for the preparation of such a healing agent, it is recommended to take three tablespoons of dry crushed herb of this plant in two cups of boiling water. The resulting healing mixture should be boiled for about two hours, and then such a medicinal product based on silver cinquefoil should be very thoroughly filtered. It is noteworthy that in order to ensure the greatest efficiency when taking such a drug based on silver cinquefoil, one should not only strictly observe not only all the rules for preparing such a healing agent, but also carefully follow all the rules for taking this drug based on such a plant.
