During the flowering period, the leaves of the Ud clintonia grow larger, and the stem also becomes longer. At the very beginning of the ripening period, the fruits of this plant seem like berries, their length is one centimeter, and they are painted in dark blue tones. Subsequently, such fruits will dry out and turn into a cracking box endowed with three incomplete nests.

Blossoming of clintonia uda falls on the period from May to June. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the Far East, and as for the general distribution, the clintonia uda is found on the territory of the Korea Peninsula, in the northeast of China and in Japan. For growth, this plant prefers virgin forests, most often conifers with a moss cover, and less often mixed forests. It should be noted that sometimes the plant grows in mountainous areas. It is noteworthy that the clintonia uda is a poisonous plant, for this reason, certain care should be taken when handling this plant.
