The diameter of the flowers reaches eight millimeters, they are painted in yellowish-green tones, the length of the lionfish reaches six centimeters, and the mature ones will be painted in brown tones and are endowed with rounded bulging nuts.
Flowering of the Lodnoplatan maple falls on the period from May to June, while fruiting occurs in September. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of Moldova, in the Ciscaucasian and West Caucasian regions of the Caucasus, in the south-west of the Baltic, in the Black Sea region of Russia, as well as in the Carpathians and in the Dnieper region of Ukraine. For growth, the plant prefers mainly mountain forests, talus, crevices of rocks, banks of rivers and streams, rocky slopes at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level. The pseudoplatan maple can grow singly or in small groups. It should be noted that this plant is a very valuable honey plant and is an ornamental plant.
Description of the medicinal properties of the False Maple
The pseudoplatan maple is endowed with very valuable medicinal properties, while it is recommended to use the bark and juice of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable healing properties is explained by the content in the roots of allantoin, xylem juice, cycloitol quebrachite, suberin lipid, carbohydrates, phloem and cambial juice, as well as the following organic acids: citric and malic. The leaves of this plant contain the tannin geranine, cyclitols and their derivatives, leukoanthocyanin leukocyanidin, carotenoids, as well as caffeic, gallic, sinanic, ellagic and p-coumaric acids. The flowers and seeds of this plant contain quebrachite, and the seeds contain fatty oil.
A decoction prepared on the basis of the bark of the pseudoplatanus maple is recommended for use as a very valuable astringent. The juice of this plant should be used as a diuretic, and also for scurvy. Both syrup and sugar surrogate are obtained from the sap of the pseudo-planan maple. The wood of this plant is used in furniture production, as well as for wood carving.
For diarrhea and enterocolitis, it is recommended to use the following remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a remedy, you will need to take one tablespoon of pseudo-maple bark per three hundred milliliters of water. This mixture should be boiled for five minutes, left to infuse for one hour, after which this mixture is thoroughly filtered. Take the resulting product three times a day, two tablespoons.
