The leaves of Kitagavia Baikal will be double-feathery and harsh, they will be grayish-green in color. The basal leaves of this plant are numerous, with the upper leaves either smaller or less dissected. The leaves of Kitagavia Baikal are on the vaginal petioles, which will be very strongly pressed against the stem. The umbrellas of this plant are numerous, they gather at the ends of both stems and branches in an almost corymbose inflorescence, endowed with ten to twenty-five pubescent rays. In diameter, the length will be about ten to thirty centimeters, the length of the petals will be equal to one and a half millimeters, they are reverse-heart-shaped, and the petals of Kitagavia Baikal are painted in white tones. The fruits of this plant are broadly elliptical, their length is four to five millimeters, and the width will be about three and a half to four millimeters.
The flowering of Kitagavia Baikal falls on the period from June to August. Under natural conditions, this plant can be found on the territory of Western and Eastern Siberia. For growth, the plant prefers sandy soil, steppe slopes and dry steppe forests.
Description of the medicinal properties of Kitagavia Baikal
Kitagavia Baikal is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the flowers and roots of this plant for medicinal purposes.
The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of coumarins in the roots, while the herb will contain an essential oil, which contains p-cymene and coumarins. Coumarins and quercetin were found in the leaves and inflorescences of this plant. The fruits of the Kitagavia Baikal contain essential oil and the following coumarins: isopimpinellin, peucedanin and imperatorin.
As for Tibetan medicine, a decoction prepared on the basis of the roots and flowers of this plant is quite widespread here. Such a very effective remedy is recommended to be used for intoxications of various origins, as well as also as a diuretic for edema.
For edema, it is recommended to use the following very effective remedy based on Kitagavia Baikal: to prepare such a remedy, you will need to take one tablespoon of crushed roots per three hundred milliliters of water. The resulting mixture should be boiled for about five minutes over a fairly low heat, then this mixture is left to infuse for one hour, after which the mixture based on this plant should be very thoroughly filtered. With edema, such a remedy is taken three times a day before the start of a meal, one or two tablespoons. Also, such a remedy based on Kitagavia Baikal is also recommended to be taken in case of intoxication, in this case the intake rate will be about one third of a glass or half a glass three times a day.
