Alpine cuff description
The alpine cuff is a perennial herb, the height of which will fluctuate between five and eighteen centimeters. The length of the root leaves will not exceed two and a half centimeters, and the width will not be more than three and a half centimeters. In outline, such leaves can be both semicircular and broad-bud-shaped, from above they are painted in dark green tones, they will be somewhat glossy, and from below such leaves are silvery from pubescence. Stem leaves of the Alpine cuff are reduced and few in number. The inflorescence of this plant is compressed and weakly branched, the flowers of the alpine cuff are in dense spherical glomeruli, their diameter will be about two to three and a half centimeters, and they will be yellowish-green in color.
Alpine cuff blooms during the period from June to August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the European Arctic. As for the general distribution, the alpine cuff can be found in the mountains of southern Europe and Greenland. For growth, this plant prefers stream valleys, rocks and grassy lawns.
Description of the medicinal properties of the alpine cuff
The alpine cuff is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. The concept of grass includes flowers, leaves and stems of this plant.
The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the content of tannins, choline, glucose, fructose, phenols, lignin, lecithin, the highest aliphatic hydrocarbon octacosan, oleic and linoleic acids in this plant. In European countries, an infusion prepared on the basis of the herb of this plant is used as a very effective wound healing and diuretic.
As a diuretic, it is recommended to use the following remedy based on an alpine cuff: to prepare such a healing agent, you will need to take ten grams of crushed dry herb of this plant in one glass of boiling water. The resulting healing mixture should be infused for about two hours, and then this mixture based on the alpine cuff should be filtered very carefully. Take the resulting healing mixture based on this plant three times a day, one to two tablespoons thirty to forty minutes before the start of a meal as a diuretic. It is noteworthy that the same infusion based on this plant in the form of lotions is quite acceptable to use also as a wound healing agent. It should be noted that in order to achieve the greatest efficiency when taking such a healing agent based on an alpine cuff, it is recommended not only to strictly follow all the rules for preparing such a healing agent, but also to carefully observe all the norms for taking this agent based on an alpine cuff. It is important to remember that, provided that such a remedy is properly prepared and taken, a positive result will be noticeable quite quickly.
It should be noted that due to insufficient knowledge of the chemical composition of this plant, it is possible that new methods of using the medicinal properties of the alpine cuff may appear, which will also turn out to be very effective.
