Description of calyx stellate

The calyx stellate is a herbaceous perennial plant, the height of which is about ten to twenty centimeters. The rhizome of this plant is thin, branched and creeping. The stalks of the calyx stellate are rather slender, tetrahedral, weakly branched and ascending. Such stems can be either naked or slightly fluffy at the top. The leaves will be sessile, plump, ovate and elliptical-lanceolate. The length of such leaves is two to four centimeters, and the width will be about a millimeter to five millimeters.

The flowers of this plant are collected in a thin semi-umbrella, while the apical bracts will be naked and herbaceous. Sepals will be ovate-lanceolate and can be either pointed or sharp. The length of such sepals is equal to two and a half to three and a half millimeters, there may be no petals at all, and sometimes they may be shorter than the calyx. The capsule is either oblong or ovoid, it will be one and a half to two times longer than the calyx itself. The seeds of this plant are colored in dark brown tones, and their diameter will not exceed one millimeter.

The flowering of calyx stellate occurs in the period from July to August. Under natural conditions, the plant is found on the territory of the European part of Russia in the Dvinsko-Pechora and Karelo-Murmansk regions, as well as in the European and eastern parts of the Arctic, and besides this, in the following regions of the Far East: Sakhalin, Okhotsk and Kamchatka regions. For growth, the plant prefers places along the banks of streams, coniferous forests, pebbles, as well as coastal thickets of shrubs.

Description of the medicinal properties of calyx stellate

It should be noted that calyx stellate is endowed with very valuable healing properties. An infusion prepared on the basis of the herb of this plant is recommended for use in case of scrofula. In case of scrofula, it is recommended to prepare the following remedy based on the calyx-colored stellate: for the preparation of such a remedy, you should take one tablespoon of the herb for one glass of boiled water. The resulting mixture should be infused for one hour, after which this mixture is very carefully filtered. Take such a remedy three times a day, one tablespoon. It is noteworthy that in order to achieve the greatest efficiency when taking such a remedy, one should strictly observe not only all the norms for the preparation of such a remedy on the basis of calyx stellate, but also all the norms of its intake.

It should be noted that the juice of the herb of this plant is recommended for burns and bone fractures, as well as the juice is used for baths in order to get rid of diathesis, as well as to relieve swelling of the legs.

As an external agent intended for baths and washing, it is recommended to use a rather valuable agent based on calyx-colored stellate: ten tablespoons of the fresh herb of this plant are taken to prepare such a remedy. This mixture should be either boiled or insisted in one liter of water, and then strain very thoroughly. In addition, the following remedy is quite effective: for this you only need to take the juice of the plant one teaspoon at a time, while sweetening such juice with honey.
