The pods are quite thick and erect, and the yellow jaundice seeds are brown in color and will be oblong in shape.

The flowering of yellow jaundice occurs in the period from May to July. Under natural conditions, the plant is found in Central Asia, Altai and Irtysh regions of Western Siberia, as well as in the following regions of Eastern Siberia: Daursky and Angara-Sayan regions.
