In nature, it is found everywhere, including on the territory of the Russian Federation. Typical habitats are mountain slopes and bushes. Characteristics of culture
The jaundice is represented by herbaceous annuals and perennials, reaching a height of 1, 2 m. They are characterized by rather strong branchy shoots, crowned with narrowed linear foliage. The flowers, in turn, are small, yellow in color, collected in large clusters, which are formed at the tops of the shoots.
Fruits in the form of cylindrical or linear pods. They carry small seeds that remain viable for over three years. The flowering of most of the representatives of the genus is observed in late spring - early summer, which largely depends on the climatic conditions of cultivation.

Usage
The healing properties of jaundice are legendary. It has been used to eliminate various ailments since ancient times. And now interest in the medicinal plant has not faded away. Today it is used as a diuretic and expectorant. It also has sedative properties, therefore it is recommended to use it in the form of a tincture and decoction during stressful situations. Jaundice has also established itself as a tonic. It is recommended to drink it to prevent heart disease and hypertension.
It should be noted that the aboveground part of plants acts as a healing raw material. The collection, in turn, is carried out during the mass flowering. Plants are laid out on a substrate, dried in the sun, and then suspended and dried. The jaundice is stored in a dry and well-ventilated area for no more than a year. After the specified period, the jaundice loses its healing properties.
Prepare from jaundice, as already mentioned, tincture and decoction. So, for the prevention of diseases of the cardiovascular system, plants are poured with boiling water and infused for 14 days, after which they are carefully filtered through cheesecloth and taken in half a tablespoon for 30-60 days. Before resorting to a folk remedy, it is very important to consult with your doctor in order to exclude individual intolerance and allergic reactions.
