For growth, white-tomentose dubrovnik prefers steppes, dry clay and stony slopes, coastal sands, rocks and talus, as well as chalk outcrops up to the mid-mountain belt. The presence of such valuable healing properties is explained by the content of alkaloids, essential oil, steroids, diterpenoids, iridoids, tannins, flavonoids, vitamin C and coumarins in the plant. The seeds of this plant contain fatty oil.

Such a remedy is used for abscesses and mycoses, while a decoction and infusion of the herb is recommended for various female diseases, gastralgia, gastrointestinal diseases, anorexia, gastric hypotrophy and dysentery, as well as for stomach colic, enterocolitis, diarrhea and ailments during pregnancy. Topical application of such a remedy is possible with eczema.
As a sedative, the essential oil of white-tomentose oak tree is used: such a remedy is used for eye diseases.
In case of gastritis, which is accompanied by reduced secretion, it is recommended to use the following remedy based on white-felt duckweed: to prepare it, you will need to take two tablespoons of chopped dry grass in half a liter of boiling water. The resulting mixture should be infused for one to two hours, and then this mixture is thoroughly filtered. Apply this remedy in half a glass four times a day before the start of a meal.
For furunculosis, the following remedy is used: two tablespoons of dry crushed herb of this plant and a common agaric, as well as fifty grams of crushed roots of large burdock are taken in half a liter of water, boiled and insisted for an hour. Such a remedy is taken one third of a glass four times a day.
