Description of the alsatian mountaineer

The Alsatian sorrel is a perennial herb, the height of which will fluctuate between fifty and one hundred and fifty centimeters. The root of this plant can be either vertical or ascending. The thickness of the Alsatian mountaineer root will be about one to two and a half centimeters. At the same time, it is noteworthy that the stem of this plant will be bare and furrowed, but inside it is dense and branched. It should be noted that in the largest specimens of this plant, the thickness of the stem will be two centimeters. The lower leaves of the Alsatian mountaineer are triangular and threefold, they will be on the petiole, the length of which will be about ten to fifteen centimeters, and the length of the plates will be equal to fifteen to twenty five centimeters, and the thickness will be equal to ten to twenty centimeters. It should be noted that the upper leaves of the Alsatian mountaineer are much smaller and less complex.

It is noteworthy that the umbrellas are numerous, in diameter they will be about three to six centimeters. Such umbrellas of the Alsatian mountaineer are endowed with naked and different lengths of rays, the petals of this plant are painted in light yellow tones. The fruits of this plant can be both oblong and elliptical, their length will be equal to four and a half to five millimeters, and the width will be about three and a half to four millimeters.

The Alsatian mountaineer blooms during the period from June to July. Under natural conditions, this plant can be found on the territory of the European part of Russia, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Western Siberia and also in the following regions of Ukraine: in the Carpathians and in the Dnieper region. For growth, this plant prefers the edges of hills and oak forests, shrub steppes, feather grass and feather grass-fescue.

Description of the medicinal properties of the alsatian mountaineer

The Alsatian sorrel is endowed with very valuable medicinal properties, while for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the roots and herbs of this plant. Grass includes the stems, flowers, and leaves of this plant. The roots of this plant have a fairly high content of carbohydrates and a related compound called D-mannitol. It is noteworthy that flavonoids are found in the aerial part of the Alsatian mountainweed, and essential oil, rutium, isorhamnetin, kaempferol and quercetin were found in the leaves. At the same time, kaempferol, quercetin and isorhamnetin were found in the flowers of the alsatian mountainweed, the fruits contain essential oil and the following coumarins: peucetin and imperatorin.

It should be noted that a decoction prepared on the basis of the herb of alsatian mountaineer is recommended to be used for arthralgia, in France such a remedy is used for epilepsy. It has been proven that the root extract of this plant is endowed with highly valuable antibacterial activity. It is noteworthy that the young leaves and stems of the Alsatian horticulture are eaten boiled.

With a poor appetite, it is quite effective to use the following remedy, prepared on the basis of Alsatian gourd: for cooking, you will need to take two tablespoons of chopped herb of this plant in half a liter of water. Such a mixture should be boiled for about three to four minutes over a fairly low heat, and then the resulting mixture is infused for two hours, after which it is thoroughly filtered. Take the resulting product in half a glass about three to four times a day before meals.
