The calyx will be bell-shaped, its length will be about eighteen to nineteen millimeters, it is noteworthy that it will be half the length of the corolla. The corolla is painted in dark blue tones, and its lobes are ovoid, and the folds will be fringed and half the length of the lobes themselves. The flowering of the gentian seven-partis falls on the second half of the summer season.
Under natural conditions, this plant can be found in the Caucasus, in the Baltic region, and also quite rarely in the European part of Russia. For growth, the gentian semi-divided prefers edges, meadows, forest glades, rocks, as well as stony and gravelly slopes both in the middle and upper mountain belts.

The seven-part gentian is endowed with rather valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb and roots of this plant for medicinal purposes.
Such healing properties are explained by the presence of flavonoids, alkaloids and phenylcarboxylic acids in the plant. The leaves of this plant contain not only carbohydrates, but also their related compounds: fructose, sucrose, glucose, vitamin C, gentiobiose and gentianosis. In the experiment, it was proved that the dry extract of rhizomes and dry grass is able to enhance salivation, as well as exhibit vasodilating, hypotensive, sokogonic, hemostatic and anticoagulant effects. Actually, preparations based on this plant are recommended for use as an analogue of yellow gentian. Also, the experiment showed that the herb extract and the amount of flavonoids are capable of having a hypotensive effect.
As for traditional medicine, here a decoction of the herb of gentian is used for malaria, as well as a means of stimulating appetite and improving digestion. It is noteworthy that a decoction of the herb of this plant will also exhibit antibacterial activity.
With gastritis, which will also be accompanied by reduced secretion, the following remedy is effective: for its preparation, it is recommended to take three tablespoons of crushed dry herb of gentian seven-partite in two glasses of water. such a mixture should be boiled for about three minutes over a fairly low heat, and then left to infuse for one hour. Then the resulting mixture is thoroughly filtered. It is recommended to use such a remedy about one fourth or one third of a glass three times a day before the start of a meal. Subject to all the rules of admission, such a remedy will give very effective results.
