Veronica daurskaya is a perennial herb, the height of which will fluctuate between thirty and ninety centimeters. The leaves of Veronica Daurian can be both narrow-lanceolate and linear. Moreover, the length of the leaves of this plant will be about two to five centimeters, while their width will not exceed three to seven millimeters. The leaves themselves will be quite sharp and finely toothed, they have teeth that are facing back. Sometimes such leaves of Veronica Daurian are also whole-edged. The racemes of these leaves are always axillary and small-flowered, endowed with very thin, but rather long pedicels. The corolla of Veronica daurskaya is painted either whitish or pale blue. The capsule of the plant will be flattened from the sides; it can be either reniform or ovoid.

As for its distribution in nature, this plant can be found on the territory of Eastern Siberia, namely in the Daursky region. Veronica daurskaya also grows in the Far East: namely, in the Amur region and Primorye. Under natural conditions, the plant grows on rocky slopes and on sandy-pebble deposits.

Description of the medicinal properties of Veronica daurskaya

The plant is characterized by very valuable medicinal properties, specifically for medicinal purposes, the roots and grass of Veronica Daurian should be used. Grass means flowers, leaves and stems. It is noteworthy that the following elements were found in the aerial part of this plant: flavonoids, coumarins, alkaloids and cardenolides.

As for traditional medicine, a decoction made from the roots of Veronica daurskaya is quite widespread here. In this case, a decoction from the roots of Veronica daurskaya is used as both an analgesic and wound healing agent. The infusion and decoction made from the herb of Veronica daurskaya are used as a wound healing, antipyretic and hemostatic agent.

With hepatitis, you will need to prepare the following decoction: about ten to twelve crushed dry roots are taken in one glass of water. This mixture should be boiled over a fairly low heat for five to six minutes, then the mixture should be infused for one hour, which will cause the mixture to return to its original volume. After that, you will need to strain this mixture. The resulting broth should be taken one to two tablespoons before meals three to four times a day.
