Instead of fertilizing their gardens with not always safe chemistry, proponents of organic farming are choosing a different path. Namely, safe products that you can prepare yourself. Let's talk about how you can make your own plant growth stimulants. This is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance

Sprouted Seed Growth Simulator

As supporters of organic farming say, nature has everything you need. And a person only needs to learn how to use those gifts of Mother Nature, which she is generously willing to share. Including many plants are sources of substances that stimulate growth. We only need to know how to get this miraculous component from plants.

Science has long known that biologically active substances are released in the phase of active plant growth. The seedlings are especially rich in them. And most of them occur in those seedlings that develop in the dark or with poor access to light.

What seeds should be used to obtain biologically active seedlings and how can they then be used?

Wheat, oats, rye, barley are suitable for obtaining growth stimulants. If there is no such grain, then the seeds of the cruciferous family will do. These are mustard, oil radish, rapeseed.

How do you get seedlings? There are several ways. The easiest and most convenient way is to moisten the seeds in any container with a lid. Instead of a lid, you can use a sheet of cardboard or a piece of cloth. But it is imperative to cover so that gas exchange occurs between the seeds. Let them swell for a day. And then put in a warm dark place so that they germinate without access to light.

It is necessary to germinate until the cotyledon leaves appear. After that, the seeds, along with the seedlings, must be thoroughly crushed. And then pour water and let it brew. The norm of water is 1 liter per 100 g of dry seeds. If you fill it with warm water, then the stimulant needs 2-3 hours to infuse. When you take a cold one, it takes 6-7 hours.

After the mixture is infused, it must be filtered. Use the resulting clear liquid as a growth stimulator. To stimulate the seeds and treat the roots, take a pure infusion. If you need to spray plants or use for irrigation, then this concentrate is diluted with water in a ratio of 1: 5.

Willow growth stimulant

Many growers know that when rooting cuttings in water, it is better not to pour out the water remaining after the procedure. And use it to water a plant transplanted into the ground. Because in the process of rooting, the cutting releases biologically active substances into the water.

A universal stimulator for watering any kind of plants can be made using willow branches. To do this, you need to cut off several young green non-lignified willow branches with a diameter of no more than 5 mm.

The twigs should be washed first, and then put in a jar of water for rooting. After 7-10 days, roots will appear on them. As soon as this happens, take the willow out of the jar, and use the water as a growth stimulant. Cuttings of various plants can be rooted in it or used for watering indoor flowers.

Growth stimulants on kitchen shelves

Very quickly, you can prepare a stimulant for rooting cuttings from water and honey. To do this, take 1 teaspoon of honey for 1 liter of water. Stir well and put the prepared cuttings in this stimulant for a day. After that, they are placed in clean water for further rooting.

These are the recipes available to everyone, and will help awaken the seeds before sowing, and root cuttings of valuable varieties, and help indoor flowers grow stronger after a prolonged winter.
